Ordering

Units and Minimums Yarns are sold undyed in packs of twisted hanks; in ½ kg and 1kg packs depending on the yarn. Our minimum order is 1 pack. There is also an option of buying 1 sample skein of each yarn, for you to see the quality of them.

How to Order?

Orders are placed by adding packs to your cart, once you have checked out and payment has been made with PayPal you will receive an email from us confirming your order which serves as an official agreement of the sale and your order will be processed. You will then be notified of delivery details, including waybill info for tracking purposes. Order Lead Times and Delivery An order usually takes up to 5 working days for delivery but please allow 3 to 5 working days for processing the order. We ship our yarns from Monday to Friday, but not over weekends. A tracking number will be provided once the order is shipped, and we will help you locate your package in case it gets lost. Shipping Policy We offer local shipping within the United States of America using UPS Miami and standard delivery which can take 2-5 working days to deliver depending on your location. The shipping rate when ordering is subject to your state.

Our Yarns

Hanks: Hanks are reeled to certain specifications based on what we have found to work best for hand dyers and these are listed in the product description. All yarns are reeled with cotton tie bands for easy identification after dyeing. Are your yarns bulked? Our yarns are not ‘bulked’ which is a process of either steaming/scouring the yarn on hank which plumps the yarn up. The reason we have not done this is it adds to the final cost you will have to pay and this process happens automatically when you dye the yarn anyway. Sustainability? Our wool is all mulesed free and our mohair comes from farms who comply with the sustainability guidelines set by Mohair South Africa. For any questions please contact us at [email protected]

Returns

What about Returns and Cancellations?

It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the yarn on arrival, as mistakes can occur it is the buyer’s responsibility to notify us of any errors of an order within 1 week of delivery. Please ensure the yarn is undamaged and in the same condition as it arrived, once the yarn has been returned it will be inspected before we can issue a refund. If there is a claim of faulty yarn please list the full details of the nature of the problem and once the yarn has been returned and it has been inspected we can issue a refund. We offer no-question asked return, If you wish to cancel your order you can do so within a week of delivery, please ensure the yarn is delivered undamaged and in the same condition it arrived, once the yarn has been returned we will proceed to do a full refund.
